Ca n’Alfredo

In the heart of the Paseo Vara de Rey we find one of the most iconic restaurants on the island, Ca n’Alfredo, serving the best of Mediterranean and Ibizan cuisine since 1934, when it was known as “Restaurante Verner and Gertrudis”. Its new name is due to the eldest son of a German family who fled nazi Germany to run this establishment in 1936. Finally, in 1941 the Riera family took its place running it up until the present day. It’s been already three generations devoted to the business. And what is so special about Ca n’Alfredo? Essentially, everything that a great restaurant should aspire to: great service, great cooking of Ibizan and Mediterranean dishes and using the best products of the land. The three basic rules that Ca n’Alfredo has always believed in.

Es Ventall

In 1982 the Boned family opened a small Ibizan cuisine restaurant in the heart of Sant Antoni, Es Ventall. Their goal was to offer quality dishes from traditional recipes of the island. Flavorful dishes that delight even the most demanding gourmets of local cuisine. The big change in this iconic restaurant came in 2005, when the son of the family returned to the island after learning and training in top class restaurants in mainland Spain. Now their traditional cuisine fuses with the newest techniques offering sophisticated dishes but without losing focus on their traditional taste.

Restaurante 2000 is one of the most traditional restaurants in north of the island. At first glance it looks like a regular fish and seafood restaurant, but in fact here they’ve been perfecting the technique since 1979. So many years of experience! One of the secrets of its delicious seafood rice dishes resides in the high quality of the catch, freshly caught every day with two llaüts (traditional Ibizan fishing sailboats) of the Escandell family, the same family that runs the restaurant, exclusively supplying Restaurante 2000
